T&G Global completes the sale of its Fijian and Pacific Islands export businesses

T&G Global Limited ("T&G" or the "Company") has today completed the sale of its Fijian and Pacific Islands export businesses to Bidfood Pacific Islands Limited, a subsidiary of Bidfood Limited.

This follows T&G’s announcement on 31 July 2026 regarding its agreement to sell its T&G Fresh business through three transactions.

The sale of T&G’s Pacific Islands export business, which was operated by Turners & Growers Fresh Limited (“T&G Fresh”), was completed on 31 August, and the sale of Turners & Growers (Fiji) Pte. Ltd (“T&G Fiji”) was completed on 1 September.

These two transactions follow the completion of the sale of T&G’s 51% shareholding in Unearthed Produce Limited (“UPL”) to UPL’s minority shareholders, on 31 July 2026.

T&G Global Chief Executive Officer, Gareth Edgecombe, says the completion of these two transactions is an important milestone in setting the Company up for the future.

“With the divestment of T&G’s Fijian and Pacific Island businesses, and our shareholding in UPL, it allows us to focus resources and capital on our premium IP-led Apples and VentureFruit platforms,” says Mr Edgecombe.

The third transaction is the proposed sale of T&G’s New Zealand domestic fresh produce business to a subsidiary of J & P Turner, which requires clearance from the New Zealand Commerce Commission.
