Appointment of Sophie Haslem to Tower Board

Tower Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Haslem as an independent director to the Tower Board, effective 20 August 2026, to fill a casual vacancy.

Ms Haslem is an experienced company director with more than 25 years' commercial, finance and governance experience across New Zealand and Australia. She is currently a director, and Chair of their respective audit & risk sub-committees, of nib New Zealand, CentrePort, Rangatira Investments, Payments NZ and Livestock Improvement Corporation (NZX:LIC).

Prior to her governance career, Ms Haslem held senior roles in corporate and investment banking, management consulting, and spent more than a decade in executive leadership positions at New Zealand Post.

Tower's Board has determined that Ms Haslem is an independent director.

As required by rule 2.7.1 of the NZX Listing Rules, Ms Haslem will retire at the Annual Shareholder Meeting in February 2027 and will be eligible for re-election.
