Radius Care Syndicates Loans, Reduces Financing Costs
25/05/2026 08:38 NZST, MKTUPDTEP
Radius Residential Care Limited (NZX: RAD) (Radius Care) announces the extension of its bank debt facilities and the establishment of a lending syndicate comprising our long-standing banking partner, ASB Bank, and Bank of China (New Zealand).
Together with the syndication, existing debt facilities have been restructured to support the execution of Radius Care’s growth strategy, including:
• Increase in facility limits of $30m ($15m core debt, $15m development facility), intended to fund the acquisition of a care home in Karori, Wellington and commencement of development at Belfast, Christchurch.
• Extended expiry of all facilities to 30 June 2029.
• Average reduction in margin and line fees of 65 basis points.
Jeremy Edmonds, Radius Care’s Chief Financial Officer, acknowledged Radius Care’s long-standing relationship with ASB Bank. “We value ASB’s continued support and welcome Bank of China (New Zealand) to the syndicate. Syndication of our debt facilities reflects broad confidence in our financial performance and growth strategy. It also allows increased facility limits to support the recently announced acquisition of our 25th care home in Karori and to commence development in Belfast.”
As previously announced, the acquisition of the 90-bed and 14-unit care home in Karori will be completed on 26 May.
