The Warehouse Group appoints Carrie Kirkman to the Board
The Warehouse Group today announces the appointment of Carrie Kirkman as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board, effective 1 November 2026.
Chair John Journee said he was pleased to welcome Carrie to the Board. “Carrie brings extensive experience from major international retailers and a broad governance background. Her expertise in merchandise, brand development and in leading large-scale transformation is highly relevant to the Group’s operations and strategic direction.”
“Her appointment will provide valuable insight and perspective as the Group builds on the progress made during FY26 and moves into the next stage of its turnaround.”
Carrie Kirkman will stand for re-election at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on 27 November 2026.
Following re-elections, from the close of the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on 27 November 2026, The Warehouse Group Board will consist of:

• Dean Hamilton, Independent Non-Executive Director

About Carrie Kirkman
Carrie Kirkman brings extensive retail leadership experience across Australia and North America, with expertise in merchandise strategy, marketing, brand development, customer proposition and business transformation. Most recently, Carrie was Chief Merchandise and Marketing Officer at Target Australia, where she played a key role in the business’s transformation. Her previous executive roles include President and Chief Merchant of Sears Canada, President of Jones Group Canada and Interim Chief Executive roles focused on transformation and digital growth. Carrie’s governance experience includes serving as an independent director of Canadian apparel company White House Design, Chair of G(irls)20 and Vice-President of the Board of the Canadian Club of Toronto.
