Laura Valiant to commence as General Counsel & Co Secretary

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has provided its non-objection to the appointment of Laura Valiant as ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZB) General Counsel and Company Secretary. ANZB announced Ms Valiant’s appointment on 26 August 2026, subject to that non-objection.

Ms Valiant will commence as General Counsel and Company Secretary on 26 October 2026 and Kirstin Francois will cease as acting General Counsel and Company Secretary.
