Synlait ELT update
17/08/2026 08:30 NZST, ADMIN
Synlait’s Director of Strategic Projects has resigned from his position.
Glenn Laing joined Synlait as Head of Assets and Engineering in 2021. Since then, he has held a number of leadership roles within the company and will finish in December.
Glenn commented: “It is time for the next step in my career. While I am looking forward to that, I want to acknowledge my time at Synlait as it has been meaningful. I want to thank the company’s leadership for the opportunities and, most importantly, I want to thank the teams who work in our operations. They are committed, highly capable and passionate. Their hard work is delivering real progress, and it has been a privilege to be part of that.”
Acting CEO Leon Fung added: “I enjoy working alongside Glenn and am pleased he will remain at Synlait until the end of the year for a seamless handover. He has done a great job leading some of our strategic operational projects – including the transition of the North Island assets to their new owner. Synlait thanks Glenn for his hard work and wishes him well for the future.”
Synlait will not be filling the Director of Strategic Projects position after Laing’s departure, the remaining workstreams will be redistributed.
