ikeGPS Group Limited (ASX/NZX:IKE) or IKE, today announces that non-executive director Fred Lax has resigned from the IKE Board, being effective on 31 July 2026 (United States time).

Fred has served as a non-executive director of IKE for approximately 12 years, having joined the Board immediately following the company’s initial public offering in 2014. Over that time, he has been instrumental in shaping IKE’s strategy and, as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, overseeing the financial governance and risk management foundations that have supported the company’s growth.

Following Fred’s departure, Rod Snodgrass has been appointed Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Rod also brings a depth of experience to this position, also as a Fellow Charted Accountant and member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

IKE Chair, Alex Knowles, said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Fred greatly for his input and energy throughout his tenure at IKE. While the company has been on a consistent growth path — from an early-stage business at the time of listing in 2014 to the established software platform now serving the North American electric utility and communications markets — Fred’s guidance, and his stewardship of our Audit and Risk Committee, has been a constant. We wish him all the very best for the future.”

Fred Lax said: “It has been a privilege to serve on the IKE Board since the company’s listing. I leave immensely proud of what the team has built and remain confident that IKE is well positioned to realise the significant opportunity ahead across the electric utility and communications markets. I remain a committed shareholder.”
