Alison Barrass to join Contact Board

Alison Barrass will join the Board of Contact Energy Limited ('Contact') as an independent director on 1 September 2026.

Alison is a professional director and former CEO with a broad range of skills and experience having held executive roles in sales, marketing and operations in New Zealand and abroad.

Alison is a director of Suncorp’s New Zealand Boards (Vero Insurance New Zealand Limited and Vero Liability Insurance Limited), Precinct Properties, and has recently been appointed to the Board of Summerset Group Holdings Limited.

Alison will fill a casual vacancy on the Board from 1 September and will stand for election by shareholders at the Annual Shareholder Meeting on 16 September 2026.
