Esro Food Group – Media Reporting

Scales Corporation Limited (NZX:SCL) has been informed that the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority initiated investigations on 16th April 2026, (Netherlands time) into the operations of Esro Food Group. Esro Food Group is Scales’ 50% joint venture partner in Esro Pet Food.

Scales take this opportunity to inform the market that:

• Esro Pet Food does not sell product into the human edible market and is not subject to this investigation.

• Esro Pet Food is a separate legal entity, selling only to the pet food market.

• Esro Pet Food operates from separate premises and holds its own licences and permits.

• Esro Pet Food continues all normal business operations without interruption.

Scales will continue to monitor developments in this matter.
