Downer awarded $750 million Chevron contract

Downer EDI Limited (Downer) today announced that it had been awarded a contract by Chevron Australia Pty Ltd (Chevron) for the provision of maintenance and support services over a maximum term of 15 years.
The contract commences in January 2026, with an initial term of 10 years plus one five-year extension option. Downer estimates the total revenue over the full 15-year term to be $750 million, subject to the release of work orders by Chevron.
Under the contract, Downer will deliver maintenance, asset management and small capital projects for non-process infrastructure assets at Chevron’s Wheatstone and Gorgon facilities in Western Australia.
The Chief Executive Officer of Downer, Peter Tompkins, said the new contract is testament to Downer’s industry expertise and track record of delivering efficiency and performance improvements for Chevron.
