Subject: Contact Energy Limited (“CEN060”) – Early Call

Message:

NZX Operations (“NZXO”) advises that, further to the announcement released by Contact Energy Limited (“CEN”) today, Monday, 19 October 2026, should the offer be made and subject to successful completion of the bookbuild for the proposed Capital Bonds, CEN will exercise its right to fully redeem their unsecured, subordinated capital bonds which are quoted on the NZX Debt Market under ticker code CEN060.

Subject to the above, CEN will redeem all CEN060 Bonds on Thursday, 19 November 2026. The final day of trading in the CEN060 Bonds will be Thursday, 5 November 2026, with the bonds being suspended at close of business.
