POT appoints new General Manager Corporate Services

Port of Tauranga Limited (NZX:POT) today announced the appointment of Kura Poulava as its new General Manager Corporate Services. Kura will join the Port in November, replacing previous GM Corporate Services Melanie Dyer, who left the Port in June.
Kura is currently General Manager Human Resources at EastPack and brings more than 20 years' experience in senior people and culture leadership roles. Her experience spans workforce strategy, employment relations, health and safety, remuneration, leadership development and organisational change in large operational businesses.
Prior to joining EastPack in 2020, Kura spent 11 years as Human Resources Director at Go Bus and has held senior HR roles with Hamilton City Council, The Warehouse Group, Fonterra and Canpac International. She holds a Master of Management Studies from the University of Waikato.
Chief Executive Leonard Sampson said the Port was delighted to appoint a candidate of Kura’s calibre.
