ArborGen appoints GM Brazil

26 May 2026: ArborGen Holdings Limited (NZX: ARB) (ArborGen or the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Wagner Itria Jr as regional General Manager - Brazil, effective June 1, 2026.

ArborGen is focused on two regional markets, Brazil and the US South. Brazil is one of the world’s most dynamic forestry markets, with expanding pulp capacity, rising demand for engineered wood products and a structural shift toward higher quality genetics. For the year ended 31 March 2026, Brazil revenue provided 44% of ArborGen’s total revenue, and it provides a strong growth opportunity for the company.

Wagner is an experienced forest executive with 30+ years in eucalyptus and pine plantations, forest operations, wood supply and the pulp and paper value chain. He has held roles with some of Brazil’s largest pulp, paper and wood solutions providers, with a focus on forest development, and has a thorough knowledge of the Brazil market.

In the regional GM role, Wagner will lead ArborGen’s Brazil business, with responsibility for driving strategic growth, deepening customer relationships and supporting the delivery of the company’s long-term priorities in the region.
