The Warehouse Group announces departure of Executive General Manager Merchandise

The Warehouse Group today announces the resignation of Executive General Manager, Merchandise, Tania Benyon, who will depart the Group on 31 July 2025.

Tania Benyon joined The Warehouse Group in 2007 as General Manager Merchandise for Warehouse Stationery and has held several leadership roles, including Executive General Manager Merchandise and Marketing for The Warehouse, Executive General Manager Trading for The Warehouse, and CEO Group Sourcing Support. 

The Warehouse Group Interim CEO, John Journee, said he and the Board wish to sincerely thank Tania for her significant contribution and eighteen years of service to the Group. “Tania has played an important role shaping our business over the years, most recently leading the refresh of our product range and pricing as part of the Group’s turnaround plan. We wish her the best for the future,” said John Journee.

Carrie Fairley has been appointed the Acting Executive General Manager, Merchandise. Carrie is currently the General Manager, Merchandise and Trade Planning and has held a number of senior Merchandise roles in New Zealand and South Africa.
